Flax

The “Flax” soap is formulated with over 13 medicinal herbs traditionally used in Armenian medicine to treat various skin conditions. It is based on the unique technology developed by godmother Satenik, a holistic healer from the northern regions of Armenia, whose holistic knowledge has been carefully preserved in this formula.

We have expanded her original recipe while strictly following pharmaceutical standards to ensure the soap’s therapeutic effectiveness. Every important condition necessary for preserving the stability and potency of plant extracts and essential oils has been carefully maintained. The flaxseed oil is extracted during the soap-making process using a cold extraction method, preventing any disintegration or loss of its beneficial properties.

“Flax” soap is enriched with medicinal plants, essential oils, plant oils, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, and β-carotene. Thanks to this rich composition, the soap has a silky texture and provides support for a wide range of skin concerns. In Armenia, this soap is traditionally listed among prescriptions for skin diseases, and dermatologists recognize it as a remedy that can enhance treatment effectiveness. It is particularly beneficial for psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and acne. As a cosmetic soap, it softens the skin, helps reduce redness, and minimizes dryness and flaking.

How to Use

Apply to wet face or skin and massage until it forms a gentle foam. Allow the soap to remain on the skin briefly before rinsing for maximum benefit. Keep the soap in a dry place between uses. 

In the picture below, you can see Grandmother Satenik’s old, broken clay jar, where she prepared her remedies by hand. The cloth placed over the jar’s mouth was woven from special plants growing along the Argich River, and the branches collected from the nearby forest were kindly given to me by Grandmother Satenik’s grandson. This small story preserves centuries of knowledge and the essence of Armenian natural healing traditions.
